mistakes
Do NOT confuse with 山西省 (Shānxī Shěng). Both sound similar, but 陕 is third tone (Shǎn) and 山 is first tone (Shān). English 'Shaanxi' uses the doubled 'aa' specifically to disambiguate from 'Shanxi'.
