Served Cao Wei 曹魏 as Grand Tutor 太傅. Together with Wang Xizhi 王羲之, often called 钟王 in calligraphy circles. His transitional style bridged clerical script (隶书 lìshū) and the regular script (楷书 kǎishū) that became standard.
mistakes
繇 here is pronounced yáo, NOT yóu. The reading shifts depending on context (yáo for the name and 'follow', yóu in 'unrest' senses).
