usage

转向 can be literal (turning a vehicle/direction) or figurative (shifting focus/stance). In driving, 转向灯 (zhuǎnxiàngdēng) means 'turn signal.' Note: 转向 can also be read as zhuànxiàng meaning 'to get disoriented/dizzy' in colloquial speech.
