Formal, the word of speeches, editorials and slogans: 践行承诺 (to keep a promise), 践行理念 (to live by an idea). In everyday talk the idiom 说到做到 (to do what you say) carries the same idea.
mistakes
Same sound as 饯行 (to give a farewell dinner), a different word. 践 has the foot radical: to tread, to carry out. 饯 has the food radical: to see someone off with a meal.
