涨流量

流量 here means 'traffic / attention / clicks', not mobile-data usage (the older meaning). Marketing slang since ~2018. Compare 涨粉 (gain followers, durable) vs 涨流量 (gain a wave of attention, often spiky and short-lived). Sometimes also written 引流量 ('channel in traffic').

流量 spawned 流量明星 ('traffic celebrities'), celebrities valued for click-generating power rather than craft. The term carries faint disdain when used about a celebrity's 'value'.
