A famous 'weird snack' of Beijing's Wangfujing and Donghuamen night markets, usually served on bamboo skewers. Shandong is the main source of farmed scorpions. Locals rarely eat them — they exist almost entirely for tourist photos; the official tourist skewer stalls were closed around 2016.
