usage
Adverbial — nearly always followed by 地 + verb. Emphasizes sustained, exhausting effort over a stretch of time. Pairs well with 工作, 赶, 忙, 复习.
memory
没日没夜 = 'no day, no night' — the ABAB rhythm (没X没Y) stresses that both halves of the day blur together. Similar patterns: 没完没了, 没心没肺.
