Liú Bāng zài Pèixiàn qǐbīng, suǒyǐ rénmen jiào tā Pèigōng.
Liu Bang rose in revolt in Pei County, so people called him the Lord of Pei.

刘邦 was born in Feng, which then belonged to Pei and is now the neighbouring 丰县. Visiting in 195 BC as emperor, he feasted the elders of Pei and sang 大风歌; the Gefeng Terrace in the county marks the spot.
culture
Several of the men who helped him found the Han came from Pei, among them the general 樊哙, who had been a dog butcher in the town.
