Tips

usage
Has two uses: (1) "sure enough/as expected" confirming something predicted, (2) "if indeed" in conditional sentences. Similar to 果然 but slightly more formal.
grammar
In conditional use: 如果果真... = if it really is the case that... In confirmatory use: 果真 + verb = sure enough/indeed.
