usage
Read 杷, the character is bound - it appears only in 枇杷 (loquat). The same character has a separate reading 杷, a farm tool for breaking up and leveling soil; that sense is unrelated to the fruit.
The tree radical on the left. In the 杷 reading the loquat is a fruit tree; in the 杷 reading the harrow is a wooden tool - either way 木 supplies the meaning.
