Tips
history
From 《淮南子·诠言训》 (Han): '道者若丘山,嵬然不动' — 'the Way is like a hill or mountain, towering and unmoving.' Later written 岿然不动 — the image of something mountain-steady is baked in.
mistakes
读 kuī, not guī. 岿 (towering) is a low-frequency character — easy to misread.
