富贵寿考

富贵寿考 packs three classical blessings into four characters: 富 (wealth), 贵 (high status), and 寿考 (long life — 考 here is an archaic word for old age, not 'examine'). It overlaps with the more common 五福 (wǔfú, five blessings) and is mostly seen on traditional birthday scrolls and in literary writing.

Don't read 考 as 'test' here. In classical Chinese 考 means 'old / aged' (as in 寿考 = long-lived). Think of an old grandfather (老 lǎo, old) — 考 originally depicted a stooped elder.
