history

In 222 CE Lu Xun of Wu (吴, Wú) routed Liu Bei (刘备, Liú Bèi) of Shu (蜀, Shǔ) at Yiling by setting fire to seventy linked camps strung along the Yangtze. The defeat ended Shu's eastern campaign and effectively locked in the Three Kingdoms division.
