Tips
usage
Mostly after 出 'to break out in': 出了一身大汗 'broke out in a sweat all over'. It also appears in the set phrases 满头大汗 'sweat pouring down one's face' and 大汗淋漓 'dripping with sweat'.
mistakes
Here 汗 is 'sweat', with a fourth tone. Read 大汗 with a second tone, the same characters mean 'Great Khan', as in 可汗 and 成吉思汗.
