塔扇 (literally 'tower fan') is the tall slim column-shaped fan with no exposed blades. Compare with 落地扇 (luòdìshàn, pedestal fan), 台扇 (táishàn, table fan), and 吊扇 (diàoshàn, ceiling fan).
