Tips
usage
Dried in the sun, never fired: that is the difference from 砖, the kiln-fired brick. Houses of 土坯 were long the norm in the dry north and northwest, warm in winter and cool in summer. For pottery not yet fired, 坯 alone or 陶坯 is the more usual word.
