哈啰

Hellobike (哈啰单车), launched 2016 and rebranded 哈啰出行 (Hello Inc.) in 2018, is one of the surviving big-three of China's bike-share era alongside Meituan Bike (formerly 摩拜) and Didi's Qingju. The company is backed by Ant Group and now spans bikes, e-bikes, and ride-hailing.

哈啰 also serves as a casual loanword for 'hello' - pronounced hāluō, not the English [həˈloʊ]. The greeting reading is [ha1 luo1]; the brand uses that same reading.
