Tips

usage
和 here is the poetry sense 'to write a poem in reply'. The 1961 regulated verse answers 郭沫若's poem on the opera 《孙悟空三打白骨精》, and uses the Monkey King's fight with the White Bone Demon as a picture of the struggle against Soviet 'revisionism'. The 1963 ci to the tune 满江红 has the lines 一万年太久,只争朝夕 'ten thousand years are too long; seize the day'.
