刺激战场 (PUBG: Stimulating Battlefield). In May 2019 it was rebranded to
和平精英 (Game for Peace) with sanitized visuals to obtain commercial approval — opponents now wave goodbye and dissolve into points instead of dying. The original name still appears in nostalgic gaming chat.
