Full Chinese name is
中国冠毛犬. Despite the "Chinese" label, the breed's true origin is debated — likely carried on Chinese trading ships, which is how it picked up the name. Comes in two coat types: hairless (powderpuff-crest only) and the fully-coated "powderpuff" variant.
