On 小红书 and other Chinese social media, 修图 is near-universal. Heavy retouching is signaled by 磨皮 (smooth skin), 瘦脸 (slim face), 美颜 (beautify). The opposite — posting an unedited photo — is 原图直出 (yuántú zhí chū, "straight out of camera").
