Tips
history
Sinornis santensis (三塔中国鸟) was described by Sereno and Rao in 1992 from the Jehol biota of Liaoning — a pigeon-sized Cretaceous bird that helped bridge the gap between Archaeopteryx and modern birds.
usage
Out of paleontological context, 中国鸟 is not a generic term; everyday "birds of China" is 中国的鸟类.
