A standard item in
科目二 (Subject Two) of the Chinese driving test, often called
半坡起步 ('half-slope start'). You must stop the car on a slope within 30cm of the curb, then pull away without rolling back more than 30cm: a clutch-control nightmare for first-timers on manual cars.
