Minnie Vautrin (1886–1941), known in Chinese as
魏特琳, was an American missionary educator at Ginling College in Nanjing. During the 1937 Nanjing Massacre, she turned the college campus into a sanctuary for over 10,000 women and children. Her diary is a primary source on the atrocities. She suffered a breakdown from the trauma and died in 1941.
