The Mongol ethnic group inside China (mainly Inner Mongolia), distinct from citizens of the independent country 蒙古国 (Mongolia). Famous for 那达慕 (Naadam) — the summer festival of "three manly games": wrestling (摔跤), horse racing (赛马), archery (射箭). Their epic chieftain 成吉思汗 (Genghis Khan) founded the Yuan dynasty in China.
