Tips

usage
落子 is the Go word for putting a stone down; everyday speech says 下棋 (to play chess or Go). Taking a move back is 悔棋, which counts as bad manners. Business news borrows the word for setting up a new project or branch somewhere.
mistakes
Here 落 is the ordinary "to put down" and 子 is a game piece, as in 棋子. Read 落子, it is a different word: a northern folk ballad, and an old name for 评剧 opera.
