usage
Often used as a colloquial predicate: 'X 稳拿' = 'X is in the bag for [someone]'. Compare 板上钉钉 (bǎn shàng dìng dīng — 'a nail on the board', a done deal) and 十拿九稳 (shí ná jiǔ wěn — '90% sure'). 稳拿 is shorter and more conversational.

稳 (steady / sure) + 拿 (grab, get) → 'a steady grab' = something you'll definitely get. The same 稳 appears in 稳赢 (sure win) and 稳赚 (guaranteed profit).
