Originally the third section of China's driver's license test (road driving). In late 2023 the name was reused for a silly hip-swinging dance set to the song 《一笑江湖》 that spread from a Guangxi wedding video to Haidilao restaurants and eventually the world. TikTok made it globally famous through 2024.
