Tips

culture
爪哇 (Zhǎowā) is the historical Chinese name for the Indonesian island of Java, used since the Tang/Song dynasties when Chinese traders called the island Shepo () and later 爪哇. It is the home of Borobudur and the political/economic heart of Indonesia. Note here reads zhǎo, not zhuǎ — the literary reading.
mistakes
Don't confuse with the programming language Java, which is normally borrowed back as 爪哇 in older texts but more commonly written as Java in modern Chinese tech writing.
