Literally 'oven-bake'. The verb
烤 alone can mean grill, roast, or bake over any heat —
烤箱烤 specifies the Western-style enclosed oven, distinguishing it from
炭烤 (charcoal-grill) or
铁板烤 (griddle-cook). Home ovens only became common in Chinese kitchens in the 2000s.
