From 《·》 (Analects: Weizi), spoken by the 'madman of Chu' () as he passed Confucius singing: 『不可』— 'the past can't be remonstrated with, but what's to come can still be pursued.' The line also echoes in Tao Yuanming's 《》: 『』.
