Most prominent bearer is
徐有贞 (Xú Yǒuzhēn, 1407–1472), Ming dynasty scholar-official and one of the chief plotters of the
夺门之变 (Duómén zhī biàn, 'Seizing the Gate Coup') of 1457, which restored the deposed Emperor Yingzong (Zhengtong) to the throne. Also a respected calligrapher and water-conservancy expert. The two characters together literally mean 'to possess chastity/integrity'.
