付Y (yā X fù Y) — X months as deposit (
押金 yājīn), Y months paid in advance.
押一付三 (1 deposit, 3 advance) is the most common;
押二付一 also exists. Renting through agencies costs an extra
中介费 (zhōngjièfèi, agency fee), often half a month's rent.
