Tips

history
Though counted alongside Yue Fei (岳飞), Han Shizhong () and Liu Guangshi () as one of the Four Generals who rescued the Song court after the Jingkang humiliation, Zhang Jun is remembered less favorably than his peers — he sided with Chancellor Qin Hui () in fabricating charges against Yue Fei, and a kneeling iron statue of him still faces Yue Fei's tomb in Hangzhou.
