冈仁波齐) for Buddhists/Hindus, Mount Sinai (
西奈山) in the Bible, the Five Sacred Mountains of Daoism (
五岳), Mount Athos (
阿索斯圣山) in Greece. The Greek monastic peninsula Mount Athos is in fact officially called 'the Holy Mountain' in Greek (Άγιον Όρος), translated literally as
圣山.
