Three drill types stocked at hardware stores:
手电钻 (shǒudiànzuàn, basic electric drill—for wood and metal),
冲击钻 (impact drill—handles brick and concrete), and
电锤 (diànchuí, rotary hammer—for heavy concrete work).
钻 here is read zuàn (the noun 'drill bit/drill'), not zuān ('to bore').
