Tips

history
Work began under Emperor Ming (r. 57–75), with 班固 among the first writers, and court historians kept adding to it until the end of the 2nd century. 东观 'Eastern Pavilion' was the palace library in Luoyang where they worked. It was the standard history of the Eastern Han until 范晔's 后汉书 replaced it, and only fragments survive.
mistakes
Read 观 here, 'palace tower; hall', as in 道观 'Daoist temple', not guān 'to look'.
