Chinese bronze-age artifacts from c. 2000 BCE onward — peak in Shang and Zhou dynasties. Key vessel types:
鼎 (ding, ritual tripod),
尊 (zun, wine vessel),
觚 (gu, goblet). Often inscribed with
金文 (bronze-script characters) that are a primary source for early Chinese writing.
后母戊鼎 (Houmuwu Ding) is the most famous surviving piece.
