Short for 走资本主义道路的当权派 ('person in power taking the capitalist road'). Coined in Mao's 1965 directives, the label was central to the Cultural Revolution (1966-76); Liu Shaoqi (刘少奇) and Deng Xiaoping (邓小平) were the most famous targets.
