肩章 are the rank insignia worn on the shoulders of military, police, and certain service uniforms (pilots, train conductors). The measure word
副 (fù) is used because they always come as a pair. Don't confuse with
领章 (lǐngzhāng, collar insignia) or
徽章 (huīzhāng, badge).
