Shanghai-Jiangnan
糯米团 (also called
粢饭团 cīfàntuán) is a handheld savory breakfast: hot sticky rice wrapped around a
油条 (fried cruller) with
榨菜,
肉松 and sometimes sweet black sesame. One of the 'four heavenly kings' of Shanghai breakfast alongside
大饼,
油条 and
豆浆. Sweet variants with red-bean paste also exist.
