The story goes that 卓文君 sent it when 司马相如 thought of taking a concubine, and he changed his mind. Its lines 愿得一心人，白头不相离, 'may I find one true heart and never part from him till our hair is white', are still quoted about faithful love. It is collected in the 玉台新咏.
