Tips

history
Founded in Tianjin around 1858 by Gao Guiyou (高贵), whose childhood nickname was ('Puppy'). He was so busy steaming buns that he had no time to greet customers, so people joked 包子不理 — 'Puppy sells buns and ignores everyone.' The nickname stuck and became the brand.
