Two readings, two different words. This one is zhàoying, with a neutral second syllable, and it means to look after someone. Said with a full fourth tone, 照应 is a different word meaning that one part of a text answers another, as in 前后照应.

Warm, everyday speech. 请多照应 is what you say when leaving someone in another person's care. It overlaps with 照顾, which is the more neutral standard word.
