溶化 (rónghuà) means dissolving in liquid. Don't confuse with
融化 (rónghuà, same pronunciation) which means melting of solids like ice or metal due to heat. Though they sound identical,
溶化 involves liquid dissolving and
融化 involves phase change from solid to liquid.
