帖 = a 'post' or 'note' on a BBS, as in
发帖 'to post'). Same word as
水贴; different character choice depending on platform conventions. Note the pinyin:
帖 here is tiě (third tone, BBS post sense) — distinct from tiē 'to obey/stick' or tiè 'rubbing of an inscription'.
