Relatively formal and strongly associated with Christian usage in modern Chinese — 敬拜上帝, 敬拜赞美 'praise and worship'. For Buddhist/Taoist contexts 礼拜 or 朝拜 is more common; 拜 alone covers ancestral and folk worship (拜祖先, 拜神). 崇拜 ranges from religious to secular ('to idolize').
