In the classical reading
张乐 (zhāngyuè),
张 means 'to set up/arrange' and
乐 means 'music' (hence yuè, not lè). The canonical usage is from 《
庄子·
天运》:
黄帝张乐于洞庭之野 — the Yellow Emperor staging a grand performance in the wild. In modern Chinese,
张乐 most often just reads 'Zhāng Lè' as a personal name.
