The standard Mainland transliteration of Van Gogh is 梵高 or 凡·高 / 凡高. 凡德高 is a less-common older or Hong Kong-style rendering that explicitly transliterates the Dutch 'de' particle. If you're writing about the painter today, prefer 梵高.
