信息流 is the algorithmic feed that defines apps like 抖音 (Douyin), 今日头条 (Toutiao), 微博 (Weibo), and 小红书 (Xiaohongshu). Unlike a chronological 朋友圈 (WeChat Moments), 信息流 is reordered by 推荐算法 (recommendation algorithms). 信息流广告 (in-feed ads) is also a major ad format.
